Mr. Mahesh Gandhi has a Masters Degree in Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and Masters Degree in International Law and Tax Practice from University of Gujarat and a Diploma in Journalism. He has progressive experience of over 40 years, across multiple sectors and worked with reputed firms such as GIC of India, UTI (US$ 800 million AUM), with stint at Jardine Fleming, pioneering the entry into asset management space. He has advised Hamon Asset Management & several companies in aviation, healthcare, hospitality, medium engineering real estate & SEZs and firms engaged in financial services. In 2005, he has set up Trikona Investment Managers in co-operation with Lehman Brothers real estate platform & Wachovia Securities and was Principal for India in the Trikona Trinity Capital Investment Fund listed on the AIM UK.
He has closed transactions in the alternate infrastructure and residential space of over 40 million sq ft. and lead Apodis Group from the front & structures all business opportunities from concept to delivery. He is a Whole time Director and mentor of Apodis Hotels & Resorts Ltd. In a span of 11 years, he has created an integrated delivery platform for economy & midscale Hotels with Food and allied services.
